The Animal Kingdom Zoo

This summer, for my sister's 16th birthday we took her to the Animal Kingdom Zoo in Bordentown, NJ. This trip was an amazing experience for everyone. I went with my parents, my grandparents, my aunt and uncle along with their two kids, who are 2 and 10. I love animals to begin with, especially giraffes, and this trip was just amazing. It was pretty cheap ($10 per person to enter and $20 for a basket of food).

The best part of this trip was being able to feed all of the animals. I was able to hand feed monkeys, who oddly like froot loops. Giraffes also have really cool tongues, that feel like sand paper and are blue. The monkeys took food right from our hands and their hands felt a lot like humans. We also got to pet many different animals including camels and llamas.
Animal Kingdom Zoo was so much fun. I never heard of it before and would never expect it to be located where it was. From the highway you can see the giraffes heads walking around and people rarely stop to see why they are there. I am so glad my family and I made this trip and I had the experiences of a life time. I can't wait to go back next summer!
